I had the same problem for the same reason you had your printer replaced by us. I have not found a solution to reset the software to default.
As a workaround you could try to uninstall and reinstall your printer software. Try to install the printer software on another computer (without any software related to it installed) so that it is not overwritten by the new printer software. There may be more effective solutions, but this will probably work.
My solution was to reinstall Windows in a new partition and to use the original Windows operating system and reinstall the printer software on a new operating system.
This solution should work.

The twin-engine plane crashed near Hilton Head Island, in Beaufort County, South Carolina, after the pilot lost control of it, according to the report. The Beechcraft Super King Air piloted by William J. Meeks of Sumter, South Carolina, was headed to Winn-Dixie Aviation in Augusta, Georgia, the report said.
"He had an exemplary record with no warnings, no warnings, not even an inspection record," said Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Lt. Adam Myrick. "He had nothing in his record."
Mick Gladden, who owns the company that Meeks worked for, was on the plane and said the pilot was "an amazing guy. He was a gentleman, with a wonderful attitude about everything. It was very unfortunate to lose him.
"He had a wife, family, friends. He was a very nice guy. He was well liked. We're just shocked."
